Google Assistant Applications

Realisations as a part of a 20% project around the state of the market on Voice Search. The objective was to go through the operational process of the development, launch & monitoring of a Google Assistant application.

Glenn's Digital Marketing Quiz - Google Assistant application 1

Based on Google Actions Template technology. The objective was to create a quiz that would test the user’s knowledge on digital marketing. Questions revolved around topics such as AdWords / DoubleClick / MarketingTechnology / etc.

Scenario 1 - Assistant vocal invocation

 

Instructions:

  1. Hold the home button
  2. Ask the Google Assistant to talk to “Glenn’s Digital Marketing Quiz”. A Google Assistant configured in English should invoke the app correctly.

Scenario 2 - Assistant store invocation

Instructions:

  1. Fire up the Assistant by holding the Home button
  2. Select the icon in the top right corner
  3. Type “Glenn’s Digital Marketing Quiz” into the search field.
  4. Select the “Try it” button.

Scenario 3 - Store shortcut

Based on DialogFlow technology this app uses custom intents. The business case is fairly simple:
Provide a reply when the user asks for the meaning of a marketing acronym (e.g: CTR/CPM/CVP/…).
